The Williamsport Area School District Education Foundation is a recognized nonprofit affiliate of the Williamsport Area School District. Led by a volunteer board of directors, the Foundation facilitates charitable giving and permanent legacies based on individual areas of interest in educational innovation, the arts, athletics, and scholarships.
Since 2004, WASDEF has been supporting students and teachers across the district with the financial resources provided by donors. Over the last decade, WASDEF has granted more than $3 million to the district in support of capital projects, innovative programs and initiatives, and scholarships.
WASDEF has grown in its mission to support students across the district by promoting, sponsoring, and encouraging educational activities, having reached more than $3 million in assets.
